Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a medical office or spa setting is preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited Esthetician program and holds a current Rhode Island License
  • Minimum of 5+ Esthetician experience
  • Laser experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Computer skills necessary

Summary

Manage, perform, and promote all treatments per protocols.  Supervise daily activities of the Estheticians. Provide training on all Aesthetic services. Oversee scheduling of the Esthetics staff to meet business demands. Oversee back bar inventory and supply orders. Handle and resolve patient issues or complaints with tact and superior customer service. Coordinate with Aestheticians regarding the status of equipment and supplies.  Request repairs and replacements as needed.  Research, recommend and arrange new service training for Estheticians. Provide recommendations or service enhancements and implement approved plans within specified timeframes.  Meet with product representatives and operational managers to discuss new products, promotions and partnership opportunities that benefit the practice as well as the department. Assist with the development of advertising, promotional materials, and event planning.  Identify and manage contraindications for best patient outcomes.  Demonstrate professional appearance and manner at all times.  Set up workstation and/or treatment room with necessary products, equipment, and supplies to ensure patient comfort and safety. Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools. Monitor and stick to time schedule throughout the day. Maintain current licensure in the service area. Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, motivating and coaching employees. Serve as a role model!
